We are looking for 2 people for a canoe for one of our teams. Male or female, makes no difference.

You should mention the shirt they may give out to increase the appeal. Last year it was a red technical T. Kudos to whoever thought of it and designed it; much better than the cotton T's of the past. One of my favourite shirts. It almost makes participating worth it just for the shirt.
Any word on whether it will be a technical T again this year? The poster just says a T-shirt without specifying.

I was referring to the Surf n Turf shirt CFB gives out in my post. I think there may have been some confusion since it and the Tri and Run shirt are both red and technical T. So to clarify I was asking about the Surf n Turf shirt.
Sounds like the Tri and Run team members could end up with 2 technical Ts. But I will let one of the staff confirm and extol the benefits of being on one of their teams.

Gazelle, I to am refering to the Surf N Turf shirt. Tri & Run is donaing t-shirts this year as sponsorship to the race.
Sandy I was told today that sponsors can reserve canoes and kayaks!

Patti, Sgt Hawes at the Cadet Camp told me on Wednesday when we were checking out one of his new buildings, that if we want two canoes for the Surf & Turf to let him know and he will save his two best for us.
