Is anybody planning on doing the Spring Thaw in Belleville on May 7?
It's a 4k and an 8k road race.

Hi Petra, it is a 10K and a 4k race.  May 7th.   To get a Tshirt you have to be registered before the 28th.  I am considering the 4k just because of the Mississauga half the next weekend.  You can get an application at the Belleville Road Runners web page and also at Tri & Run I think.

Yes, you are right, it's a 10.  I was only planning on doing the 4 (for the same reason, Mississauga), so I guess I didn't pay attention.  I have an application form and was going into Belleville on Friday to drop it off, but only if there is anyone going that I know (hint, hint, haha). I hate to run alone or at least go to a run alone.
Anyway, Sue and Cathy, let me know if you are going.

That's great, Cathy, I better fill out my form, too.

Yes, Jane, you can be our personal photographer, haha, but why aren't you running?

I don't know.  Too many races maybe??  Mississauga, Sulphur Springs, maybe the Mud Run.....  and I don't really need another t-shirt.....  Hmmmm..... I'm thinking about it.  But 4K seems so short, but I don't want to do 10K and do something to myself the week before I am running with Heather because I try to race it......

Your awesome Jane.  I can't wait till I'm at a point where I'm doing too many races and I have turn some down.  You inspire me!  What do you do with all those tshirts?
I only have two and I'm not a "tshirt wearer" kind of person.  Too bad they don't give you options to have something else other than a tshirt.

Yup - Miss Nancy C. has been commissioned to make one for me for my 50th birthday (you have LESS THAN SIX MONTHS NOW, Nancy!)  I think I gave her 25 t-shirts.  I still have a bunch here.  You WILL get more than the two you have, Shannon.  Although now, alot of the races are giving tech shirts, which is good too!
