I had a great time this morning too.  I am glad that you came out and ran with us Dave.  Hopefully next week it will be milder and the run will be longer!!

It was fun running with you Sassy Sue!  It is nice to get to know other runners and to discover that you have been meeting my husband every second Monday (at basketball!).  What a small world!!

I must say, I feel very lucky to belong to such a great group of runners.  You are all amazing -- we could almost write a book about our group with a chapter on each person and all their accomplishments.  Oh right, I just remembered (flashback to about a year and a half ago),  I was going to try and get us on Oprah.  You never know - it could happen yet.

My photos at Cora's didn't come out -- time for a NEW CAMERA!!  However the outside ones are ok.  Here they are -- there aren't many because we didn't spend a whole lot of time standing around - I wonder why???

This hardy group agreed to pose for a photo - good thing it was in the sun!

Nancie, Sue, Petra, Heather and Carole.

They even stayed in one spot long enough so Jane could get in a photo (actually, I think they were frozen to the parking lot!)

Sandy giving the group her blessing before starting out!  I think I heard her mumbling through her face thing, something like "Oh Lord, please don't let us freeze our "glutes" off!"    laugh

Weren't we just a happy looking bunch!  :o  Sweet Sue were you wondering whatever possessed you to want to be part of this whacky group that runs at -25? windchill???

Oops -- one photo from Cora's did come out half decent - a very nice photo of Lovely Leslie!

The rest, I will have to leave up to the girls with the other cameras to post.  If you don't know how to do it, you can either send them to me and I will post them, or I can try and give you instructions.

The pictures are off my camera and being uploaded as we speak.  I tried to do them all at once  last night but being on dial up just didn't allow for that, it crashed, so I am doing them one at a time.  Will try to post them a bit later but more than likely not today as my little one comes home tonight and he takes up most of my time.

Oh Jane, I like it! Sassy Sue it is!  Thanks again for hanging out with me at the back of the pack.  Sandy says I probably could have used a neck/face warmer over my mouth and nose to help with my breathing as that was the trouble Sunday morning.  My lungs actually were hurting! I'll have to get over to see Sandy to pick one up.  Pictures are great! Thanks for posting them.  You are right, what a great bunch we have the pleasure to run and eat with!  I'm thinking of training for the half marathon in May.  Are you and Heather thinking about this one as well as Disney? See you in a couple of weeks!
Sassy Sue

P.S.  Tell Bob I'll see him next Monday! laugh

Yes, Heather is training for the Mississauga Half with Elizabeth and I will run it with her.  It would be great if you ran it too.  There are a lot of people from here who are making plans to go down there for it!  Or were you thinking of running the Half in Ottawa at the end of May?

I told Bob that you would be seeing him some Monday -- I didn't think it would be tonight, as you said you were working next week!

Well here they are.  Now please remember I have not read the camera instructions as of yet.  Will try for better next time.

I just love the way the reflective strips show up.

Jane is right, I had just been saying that morning of the run that I have never met such a great group of people.  I have felt welcomed right from the first day.  Thank you all for allowing me the pleasure to get to know you.

Great photos Cathy!! (well, except for some pretty silly looking ones of me!).

It is funny to see all the reflectors in the last two.  We should have removed our coats from the chairs, but we would have still had all those reflectors on our shoes!  I guess that is what happens when you take photos of runners!!
