My brother purchased a box set titled Vinyl Cafe (http://www.cbc.ca/vinylcafe/about.php) for my parents - a collection of audio short stories told by Stuart McLean.  We listened to one yesterday and I am hooked. Some are available as mp3's to download.

We listened to "Dave and the Bike" you can download it here - http://www.cbc.ca/podcasting/includes/vinylcafe.xml

Worth a listen. I thought of all you bike enthusiasts when listening  grin

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left.

My parents also recieved the Vinyl Cafe boxset this Christmas.

I've caught some of the Vinyl Cafe in the car on occasion and have always found it to be a compelling listen.
Stuart McLean is definitely the Master of narration.

Have a good New Years Nancy!
