Hey ladies, I just had my first header yesterday morning. Went down like a sack of bricks! Looks like nothing is broken or chipped, my ankle is just HUGE and sore. The doc mentioned no runs for 12 days. Any tips on a speedy recovery?

Guess I'll be seeing you guys after the holidays  sad

I had a 2nd degree ankle sprain a few weeks before the Fat Ass run. With lots of ice and advil, I knew I still needed more as it was very weak, sore to touch and had limited range of motion but no visible bruising. I went to see Dr Ben Osborne at Belleville Integrative Health Centre on College St Belleville. He did a great job. The sooner you can get in, the better chance you have of a speedy recovery.
