I know you're all running these days but the Saturday forecast begs for a ride.  Looking for some company on a 100k ride at the 30Kph+ pace.  I'll be rolling out of Brighton (Presqu'ile Park Gates) at 10 .M.  Roughly 2500 Feet of climb, North out of Brighton and into the hills.  You won't be disappointed in route choice if you like a challenge.  Any takers?

G'day Chris,

I'm game, sounds like you'll be heading out my direction? (I live in Warkworth) If you want we could even start earlier?
C'ya Tomorrow morning.

Peace
Peter

Great!  I don't mind moving the ride back to a 9 A.M departure if you like.  Looks like the temperature will be in our favor for tomorrow.  See you at the park gates.

Forgot to mention.... the route I was planning will take us up to Castleton, then essentially follow the Kevin Raper route to circle back down towards Brighton.  The roads should be well known to you!

Thanks guys next time I will make sure I have enough gas in my bike. From Colborne to Centerton now that was fun. I told you I hate hills. or is it I suck at hills. I think it's the same thing. Thanks again.

Had a blast boys. Good ride, Good weather, Good company.

Darryll, in order to conquer the hills you have to become the hills, be one with them, savour them, do them frequently..... evil

Thanks for the company guys.  It's exponentially more fun with more people.  Plus you get to draft more!  Hope to do it again before the snow flies.

Cheers,

Chris
