A beautiful Sunday morning down at Sanbanks! This was the first time I've done this run and set out to beat my previous PB of 55:48. Short story shorter - I ran. I finished. Took 23 seconds off my time for a 55:25! 36/87 runners. 5th in my age category!!!<---keep in mind I was in the same category as Jutta  HELP!  cry  grin. Congrats to her and her family. They really dominated out there yesterday!

Learned a few things
1. Probably went out a little too fast
2. I still suck at holding a pace.
3. Shouldn't have gotten so p!$$3d when someone high-five'd after passing me around the 7k mark. Picked it up too soon to pass them back and was spent after that.
4. These extra 10 pounds i'm carrying are heavy!

Anyway, I'm still stoked about my new PB. Hopefully my goal for PEC half can be reached as well

Congratulations April on your PB!  And good luck at PEC.  Will be waiting for you at the finish line.
