Probably doesn't need to be said, but if its like this morning was, dress warm.  Today I rode in bibs, jersey, windproof jacket, wind gloves, toque, and wool socks (most others rode with some version of pant/leg warmer).  My legs were fine, but if I was going again, I would have worn shoe covers as well - my toes got pretty cold.  Have fun.

Not gonna make it  sad
Not that I didn't enjoy my first time out last week, cause I did and it was awesome! But I'm getting sick and the cold 3 degree weather in the morning will not be good.

Out of curiosity... how late in the year does this ride go on for?

Klowe:

Jeez, that's quite a few rides now that you've ditched us in favour of going "Mtn Biking".

If you don't want to ride with us anymore, just tell us. We can take it. cry

Walk Away I think of you guys out there lots, it really makes it more fun when you are suffering with someone else, well at least you have someone to bitch about the cold to. I saw Jons post and for the third time this month I woke up to snow, I hear you about the boot warmers.
