Just had to share--yesterday, I ran the longest distance EVER!  I completed a fantastic 16 km run with my hubby...16 km!!!  I'm so pumped, I still can't believe I'm typing that number LOL  Anyway, I had to brag a bit.  Tri & Run helped get me hooked on running and I'm pretty proud that I've stuck it out...even when it felt like I would never get faster, that I would never build up endurance, etc...

You know what the best thing is?  I felt great after the run! :)  YAY YAY YAY!!! :)

Just had to share!!!

Sweet!  Congrats on your accomplishment, I dare say you are well ready for the PEC half marathon (just a wild guess)??  Regardless, enjoying the journey is as important as any one race, so you are doing it right!  Keep up the great work.

Congratulations!!!!!!  That is awesome to hear!  16k is a long way to run and like you said, the best part was feeling great while you did it!

It'll only be a short time and 16km will no longer be a long run for you. Then your long runs will be measured in hours and not kms wink

Way to go.

Peace
