Lake Placid Relief

Hey Gang,

The recent weather/hurricane really made a mess of Lake Placid over the past weekend.  Parts of the town are wiped out pretty bad, and some of the roads are completely closed due to upheaval.  Some of the areas are also on the race route.  I know many here have raced LP, or are preparing too, so I thought I would at least post a link to an article explaining a little more about the situation and in the article is also a link for making donations should you wish to help out this town that has given many of us awesome, unique racing memories (and more to come).

I found some pics of the area it is sad to see...a lot of the places I remember ,some fondly,some not so much  ....they needed to lot of road work before but now!!!!!
