Congratulations Kate on concurring a new distance! You did great. No one gets left behind. The air was thick, humidity was high and the breeze was sometimes non-existent. Concrete jungle to say the least. Can't say i was too fond of the different odors in the area but still a fun run.
Thanks go to Kate, Gloria and Petra for a great road trip. Glad I didnt get us lost. Nancy R, we missed you!

Congratulations Kate and April on completing the 30k.  You did awesome, especially in these hot and humid conditions.
And congrats to Gloria, Heather, Martine and Rhonda for running the 15k.

Thanks ladies for letting me tag along on the road trip, it was fun.  We'll have to do it again .........

Congrats to Kate and April for completing the 30 k  - Kate you are on your way to that marathon you are working towards......

Petra thanks for the laughs prior to the 15k - it made the long wait bearable.  What a great  place to 'people watch'  LOL

Great road trip girls - had a blast - Nancy you missed alot of fun

Rhonda ~ Around the Bay.  April has mentioned that one a couple of times and one of the things I do know right now is that I'd like to train properly (the truth comes out ...) and do at least one more 30K before I consider a full marathon.  I think a spring run would be much more fun for me as I HATE running in the heat!  (And yes.  I knew Mid Summer was in August, but didn't give the heat much thought at the time.)

April ~ I'm glad you didn't get us lost too!   laugh

Petra ~ it was GREAT having you come along ... even just for the opportunity to get to know you a little better.  And your enthusiasm and encouragement was contagious and certainly helped me relax a little bit.

Gloria ~ some of the people were rather "interesting", weren't they!

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left.
