G'day Guys,

All you trail inclined cyclist, I was wondering if anyone was interested in joining in with Bob, Cal, and I, in a ride either Beagle Club, Ganaraska E2, or trails around my place. Let me know if you are interested and what you'd prefer. The trails out here were good and dry this weekend, and there is still no sign of Poison Ivy. :)

Peace
Peter

G'day Guys,

Trails were perfect, the rain makes the trails out here even faster as there is a lot of sand. Cal was rocking a Scott Spark 10, (http://www.scott-sports.com/ca_en/product/10023/55335/217923) and we put it through it's paces with some steep climbs, swoopy single track and hold on tight descents. He was smiling alot so he must have liked it. Thanks Jeff.

Peace

G'day Janet,

Next time we are heading out to Ganaraska I'll give you a heads up. Beagle Club is a set of trails on Beagle Club rd. just west of hwy45. the trails from my place run all the way out there. Maybe if you are interested in a ride you could join in, I could give you a bit of a tour so to speak. Speed is all relative and we would never leave anyone behind. We will wait at the intersections until everyone is together. A couple years ago we were out to Beagle club in the late fall/early winter with the big ring club, I think Nancy Coakley was there and others that were relatively new to mtbing. The more the merrier.

Here is a link to Beagle Club from Trenton.

Sounds good Peter! After Colleen's MTB clinic I'm sure I'll be better at keeping the rubber side down, and be quicker!

Hey,

Going to Beagle Club Rd tomorrow for the first time.  Any suggestions about which trails to ride?  I'm still kinda green.

Thanks,

Blair

They are all relatively tame for even a newer rider. The red is nice short warm up and then the blue/green loop (about 13-14km) is good again nothing is "really technical" at Beagle club. There is only one harder climb(Hogsback) just gear down and take your time. Have fun Blair.

Next time you're planning on heading out there give me a little more heads up and I may be able to meet up with you. There are a few trails on the other side of Hwy#45 that you might enjoy.

Peace
