There are a number of us going and a couple of people are looking for some accommodation info.  Who is going?  Where is everyone staying?  Does anyone need a ride?

I plan on going.  I may have to spend a night at a Holiday Inn, as I have a free night there that I have to use by the end of May.

Is that a far drive?  I know the girls were hoping to all stay in the same place.

What girls?  I am not even sure who is going.   laugh  Petra was asking me where I was staying but nobody else has mentioned Sulphur Springs.

Otherwise I am going to have to go and spend time in a Holiday Inn somewhere else in May....   laugh

Michele and I are going - we would be OK with a holiday inn if it's not to far from the race.

I was looking at the Holiday Inn Express in Stoney Creek.  It is hotel number 2 on this link - http://www.hiexpress.com/hotels/us/en/hd/canada/ontario/burlington-hotels?action=list&p=0&pageSize=10&tab=m

If you book in advance (but can't cancel) you can get a room with two double beds for $102 a night.  CAA rate (that you cancel up till 6 p.m. that night) is $110.

I think it is between 20-25 min away.  I don't know if there are other hotels that are closer.

As I said, I have a free night I have to use before May 31, so that is my reason for sticking to Holiday Inn.  I should go ahead and book.  I wish the beds were queens though and not double.
