This is hard to write but much harder to talk about. Just to let everyone who knew her over the years, our Dot passed away yesterday at the age of 11. She had developed COPD in the last 6 months and in the last week of her life it became hard enough for her to breathe that she wasn't sleeping. She went peacefully with the help of her doc and with Jeff and I there. To those who knew her she was more than our dog, she was like our second child and was ever present in our lives. To say she will be missed is a gross understatement.

Sandy, Jeff and Ryann so sorry about DOT.
I loved it when you would take her out in the stroller with us running. I always chuckled and wondered what people thought when they drove by us! It is a great memory as I am sure you have so many to draw on.
Our pets are such a very important part of our families.

Sandy, Jeff and Ryann, I am so sorry for your loss.
You were lucky to have Dot and she couldn't have had a better family. I can't imagine how hard it was to be there with her at the end, but that just shows how special you were to each other.
There is going to be a big void in your life for awhile. I hope the happy memories of Dot will help you get through this time.

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left.

So sorry to hear about Dot, I too have many memories of running with Dot in the woods, Dot in her stroller cheering us on at races, Ashley throwing the tennis ball over and over for her at the club house. She will be missed.
