Hi- can anyone recommend a good RMT in the area? Preferrably either Belleville (where I work) or Brighton (where I live).
I'm going to my Dr this week to get a referral (so insurance will cover it)- I'm sure he'll tell my that if running causes problems, then I should stop running ....... angry....... but I need his referral......

Body Maintenance on the corner of Dundas and Avondale is great.

The folks at Body Maintenance are great!  Mike is very strong and can't work out some of the worst aches if you don't mind seeing a guy.  He is very professional and has experience treating runners.  He is a runner himself actually.

All this talk of massage makes me think I should make an appointment myself!!

Hey, my hubby thinks its weird seeing a guy, and prefers to see Cloud, lol.  To each their own!  Mike is a small guy, but man oh man is he tough on the body!

It went very well- he was able to narrow down what was going on much more accurately than my Dr (who suggested that I try wearing "fancy shoes"). He worked on calves for 1/2 and hour, and they're feeling good- going back in a few weeks for another tune up. I would recommend Mike for sure.

I saw Barb on Thursday. Had a 45 min session and I felt a little sore afterward but 100% better the next day. Calves loosened up and my run on Friday went without incident.

Thanks Patti & Sandy for you help and suggestion to try massage therapy.
