Sandy,

If you are lucky and it gets cold enough you'll be able to run on top of the puddles.  grin

Peace

I will probably come out and see if anyone is walking.  Not sure if my leg will want to run or not.  I don't want to hold anyone back, so if nobody is walking, I will walk around in Batawa or somewhere safe like the rail bed.

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!  Little snow and firm ground plus warm temperatures made for a perfect romp in the woods including the river crossing.

What river crossing??  I never noticed any water -- at least not in my lovely Saucony Trail shoes that Sandy sold me.  Warm dry feet when I got home.....  Everyone should have a pair, right Sandy?    horrrray!  horrrray!  horrrray!   horrrray!

Darn it ... and I missed it!   sad

Jane ... I tried those shoes on, but my feet are too wide.  The trail shoes I did end up with (Brooks Cascadias? which I REALLY REALLY like) are supposed to be water resistant, but I have learned to bring dry socks and shoes to change into.  smiley
