We had a good thread going in the wake of Ms Wellington's DNS at Kona this year, and what may have caused that.  I just came across this posting from her blog site:

It was terrible timing, but hopefully she makes a full recovery and continues to perform, as many believe (including myself), as the best female endurance athlete in the world.
