For anyone who knows me it's now like me to NOT complain about the cold and as much as I hate to do it now I was able to ride twice this weekend and stay relatively warm.  Capris, Mizuno Breathe Thermo shirt, Big Ring/Tri & Run windbreaker, Thorlo socks and Brooks Wanganui gloves, and fall riding was tolerable!  Huh!  If this sounds like a PSA for Tri & Run it could be and why not...we sell great stuff!  grin

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left.

It is something everyone needs if they participate in outdoor sports from running to skiing.

For the ride Saturday morning I had a Breath Thermo shirt and the Big Ring Sugoi jacket and it was all I needed, and maybe even more then I needed for the second loop with Greg and Craig!!!
Great stuff...
Cheers.

Ummm.... the same day that Sandy was dressed like that, I was wearing my shorts and a short sleeved t-shirt with a windbreaker over the top.  I had gloves that got taken off part way through the ride.  Aside from my quads being a touch cold right above my knees for part of the ride, I was fine.  But I do have a breath thermo top here somewhere.....

G'day Jane,

I'm with you, I dress like Bryan for rides in the middle of the winter. Usually it's my hands (and feet on rides though not runs) that I need to worry about other than that it doesn't take much to stay warm unless it's raining.

Peace
Peter

The only way to be prepared for the cold weather is to wear everything you own, then ride or run behind some big sweaters & put on what they discard  iceskater
