Welcome to the club

I'd like to take a moment and welcome five new members to the half marathon club. They are Jenn, Robin, Stephanie (aka Running Wild), Heather, and Rita. These ladies began their half journey in June and worked their tales off. Never once complaining, (ha ha) whining, (yeah right!!) or cursing their coach out (to her face).
Yesterday their journey came to its finale as they all crossed the finish line with smiles on their faces.
I have two things to say to you five, congratulations and welcome to the half marathon club!!

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left.

Thanks Patti! It was an emotional ride for me yesterday. For a girl who thought she could never be an "athlete" I sure felt like one yesterday!
We love you and your kick ass coaching style. I would never have made it without following your guidance and your encouragement.
p.s. Sarah Boggett is already asking me when we are going to start training for a Full! (I told her to shut up!)
Cheers,
Stephanie

Even if you fall on your face, at least you're moving forward!
