PEC marathon cheering question

I'm trying to figure out a plan for my wife to cheer along the marathon route for tomorrow, but it looks like road closures make it impossible to get South of Hwy 33. Are the roads also closed to traffic crossing? If you can cross, I think she could Shannon Rd from Bloomfield, cross the route at Mallory road, and then get to Ridge Rd, which would open all sorts of options. Does anyone know if that's feasible?

I don't know. If you haven't already picked up your race kit ask the organizers at the expo. It is a rolling road closure so if she gets there early she might.

Hi,
If you are coming in from Trenton, you would want to take Schorarie road at consecon (cty rd 1, I think, make a left turn off of 33) and follow that past the 62 to Mallory rd. You would then go south on Mallory rd, cross hwy 62 again, take cty rd 32 until you hit shannon rd. Go left on shannon (cross the ridge road) and this will hook you up with marisett rd, drive to the end, join the other cars and cheer away! There is a map in the race kit. If you are coming from Belleville, hook up with schorarie rd at hwy 62, turn left and follow the above directions.
Hope this helps and good luck,
Michelle
