It just hit me at 3 am (while I was tossing and turning and not sleeping) that I will REALLY miss not running in PEC this year. Only running 11k (this Sunday, thanks Kate) since May (damn leg) put an end to that.
I thought I was okay with it, but I now know that when I knew I couldn't do it, and made plans for the weekend away, that I was subconciously running away from reality. If I'm not here, I won't think about it.
For Sandy,the organizing team, and volunteers - good luck for a super day, and for all the participants - GOOD LUCK I'll be running in spirit.
I WILL be there next year !!!
