Hello Greg tried to reply earlier but my interbet went down. Did you race on the weekend or is that race still coming up? If you did race how was it?

Hey Dave

It was yesterday in Lakeside. It was awesome, had a great time on a nice day in beautiful Oxford County. Much like Brockville I finished kinda middle-ish of the pack (32/54),but the distances were double what Brockville was so I'll take it away as a step in the right direction and a good way to head into the next training build. Here's the link to full results:

Thanks for asking Dave....missed having you there, my friend!

Cheers,
Greg

WOW! Great job Greg. You maintained a good pace on the bike and both runs. Congratualtions once again!

Yeah both knees are now giving me problems which of course leads to other problems so I am fighting witht that still trying to maintain some sort of workout schedule. Hopefully things turn around soon.

Sandy,
I think a lot of the issues with my knees is my weight. Also the surgeon said that the pain in my right knee sorry to say will be a life time problem. The corrections he was going to make were so minor that it was not worth the risk of more surgery and that the corrections would not have alleviated the pain as he first thought. So I am just taking my time working slowly on building a better running base and hopefully losing the weight , which I know will help.

Greg,

Thanks. Just not going to use it as an excuse anymore.
