Just thought that I would include some shots taken at the Sandbanks run this weekend.  I believe that we all had a wonderful time and once again, it was a beautiful day.

Remember I can't carry my camera during the race so these were taken afterwards.

Petra getting ready for the after of the race.

Susan and her mom Joan.  Joan won her age group again this year.

I was sneaking up on the rest of the group.

Adam with his usual pose.

Jane wondering where Terry is.

Sue waiting for Terry.

Jane's sister Lynn.  She did her first race, I believe and did wonderfully.

Look, it's a bird, it's a plane.
I wonder what they were both looking at?

Here comes Terry

PB for Terry.

Every one at the finish line.

These guys put on a wonderful race every year.

Before the awards we went down to the water to cool off.

Nice socks Jane.

The poles ran up and down the beach.  Wonder if they are getting ready for winter?

Interesting variety of socks.

This is what I was doing Jane when I had my back end towards you....

Heather doing water jumps.

I think that everyone was really enjoying the water.

Self shots never turn out very good.  lol

Not one of the racers but real cute.

Jerry won in his age group as well.  Awesome work Jerry.

The results with all the 5k in the 50 - 59 group on it.  And there are now a number of us in that group.  Quite a battle to get a placement for sure.
Way to go ladies and gents.

Loved the shoe/sock ones too, great shots.

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left.

Those photos were great Cathy!  Yes it was a fun fun day.  And my sister did do her first race.  Considering she doesn't run, finishing in 38:15 was a great time!  We even passed people near to the end!  It was fun doing it with her.  My first Sandbanks was in 1999 and was my first 5K race.  So that makes this my 12th Sandbanks in a row.  I am not sure what it is that I like so much about it.  Just everything, I guess!!

Now, I suppose I should try and upload my photos, as Cathy tells me it is easy.
