Stylish and comfortable flats for everyday wear - lots of walking

Can any of you ladies recommend flats that you can slip on, that go with jeans or slightly dressy pants or even tights, that have some support? (arch cushioning?)
I have lots of flats, mostly from Aldo or similar but they don't have any or much support and I will be walking the halls of college this fall and I don't want to wear runners all the time.
I wandered around yesterday at school in my current flats and they are totally flat. Very comfy, BUT I noticed last night my bothersome knee felt a little off and I really think its was from walking around in those flats all day on hard floors. Was ok this morning and my run was good, but I am sure it was the flat shoes on a hard surface that did it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Nancy

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left.

The only suggestion I have is ditch the flats and wear the running shoes. Function over fashion is my moto!

Sandy I have considered that, the majority of the time I wear athletic type clothes anyway, as they are comfortable and functional. But then I may have to have another pair of runners....lol Smart motto!
Flats are horrible to the joints.
Thanks,

check out the "Wrapped Mary Jane" on the Crocs website. Not really sure how Crocs rate as far as support and all that foot stuff goes, but I've heard they're very supportive? anyway, the shoe is really cute!

Hey thanks, those ARE cute, I also liked the "Marnie" ones. Will hunt them down and have a look.
