One of my co-workers in Thunder Bay is thinking about this challenge - is there something similar in this area - sounds like fun - at least in the water I won't get kicked by a swimmer, I'll just tip my kayak.

Something similar and closer called Storm the Trent. I know it was hosted at Stoco Lake a couple years ago but I think it moves around. I was too late to get in but I've heard it is a great event. Different distances for different levels.
