While some of us are fretting over bettering our times, if that course we just raced was accurate or if our times accurately reflect our training, Kristin Crowe has had other things to think about. In November of last year just after completing her first Marathon she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Quickly after that she was under going a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. On August 26 Kristin will be among only 45 cyclists riding with Lance Armstrong in the Ride with Lance Armstrong to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, raising funds to create a future without breast cancer. In order to participate each person must raise $25,000. If you would like to sponsor Kristin, find out more about the event or Kristin journey go to

On this page you will see messages of hope and good wishes, one which hit me personally was: ?It's not what happens to you in life; it's how you choose to respond?. With breast cancer affecting one in nine Canadian women, choose to be part of the solution.
