If you're gonna start talking smack, you should at least make sure its coherent  tongue wink  I love watching the tour, and I'm not really a 'pro Lance' guy, but if your gonna hate, then maybe I'll stand up for him, just for some entertainment  grin
For what its worth, I think you got the right guy as your profile picture - Contador was a beast last year, and if he is on the same/better form, it will take a heck of a tactic/effort combo to beat him.  Bring it on, love to watch it!

I don't know if I'd say "Beast", maybe self-centered, pompus, arrogant, insolent, haughty.  I'm sure on his kingergarten report card it says "Doesn't play well with others".

Looking forward to a good tour.  grin

That's funny Sandy as Janet uses the same words to describe Lance. Though personally I'm a closet Lance fan.

Like him or not he deserves respect for his accomplishments. Contador doesn't give it and therefore I have no use or respect for him.
Karmas a bitch and it might come in the form of a fiery crash. I'm just saying.

Yes Lance does deserve respect for his past accomplishments he set records that may never be beat (allthough the same was said of the records he beat) but that was the past.........in the past I used to own a hair brush....just saying  tears

Den: I still use my hair brush, But I find it hard to get all the way around to the middle of my back. Like Cal says I still have as much hair as I used to, it's just in different places.

If this isn't about Bob's hairy back, then who's hairy back is it about?

Maybe not hairy backs but I've got a picture of Dennis from our High School yearbook that DEFINATELY is proof the he at one time needed a brush, though I think by the picture he didn't use it then either.  shocked

I believe Sandy posted something a while back regarding most Champions posessing some form of arrogance, cockiness etc. Just one of the ingredients necessary for winning big?

Miguel Indurian (5 time tour winner) was probably the notable exception. Quiet, respectful, not a boastful bone in his body. This guy was phenomenal, resting HR 28, 8 litre lung capacity, huge cardiac output. Also set a new "Hour Record" one of the toughest events in the world.

Lance was still one of the better cyclists last year and a fierce competitor. I have a great deal of respect for him. We'll see how he does this year. Everyone's body reaches a point where it cannot perform at peak output.

One never knows what to expect in the tour, maybe we'll hear, " Contrador has failed his drug test" angel
