Kayaking

Hi All,
I am interested in trying out kayaking. Wondering if anyone knows of any good spots to rent from and places to kayak? Any must sees? And any other general kayaking info.
Thanks!
Rachel

I believe there is a guy named Bernie that WAS on the way to Belleville that taught kayaking. I am sure that he would also have ones that you could rent. (maybe)

OMG when did Bernie pass away? He was in the store in the spring and I do CPR with his wife?

Oh gosh. I hope I do not have him mistaken for someone else. I hope this is not tactless but here is an article.

OMG that is so sad, it is definitely him. What a great guy! Well in the spirit of Bernie, I have a kayak (I bought from Bernie) that you could try and if interested you could purchase. Let me know when you have time and you can take it right from my house. I will come with you if you like.
