Did anyone GPS the first and last run legs of the Surf & Turf?

I don't know the GPS'd distances, but I wanted to make an observation and ask a question.

Why do you think that so many of the teams are missing results for Leg 3 and 4?  Like six out of the top seven team have no results for those legs.  I am just curious about this, as it seems strange.  The faster teams just didn't seem to have recorded times.  So if your chip doesn't work over the final mat, then do you come last?  (I heard this happened).  But if your chip doesn't work over a mat on the course, then it doesn't matter?

As I said, I am just curious.

We had heard they had a problem with those computers and some of the data got dumped.  they are hoping to retrieve it but I wouldn't suggest anyone holding their breath.
