This was my choice - and I do understand it is a relatively simple Garmin, not quite loaded up with all the bells and whistles, but it fits comfortable and the price was within reach. I debated quite a bit between this and the 310XT, but decided to go with the new forerunner.

To view the data you have to upload it, but I am fine with that.

I've used it a few times, one run, a few bike rides and a few walks and I have to say (likely because its my first Garmin sports piece) that I am quite impressed and am having a blast with the data. Data is one thing I could spend hours looking at.
