Calling all cyclists! Traditionally there are not a lot of organized races or events for those of us that like to bike...until this summer. If you are a casual rider don?t miss out on the Cycle for Heart on Sunday June 6th. The ride will leave from Prince Edward Square in Rossmore at 8:30 and 10am. Registration for all events takes place at 7:30am on site or in advance at
www.fitforheart.ca, by phone at 613-962-2502, or in person at the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Belleville. If you?re not sure if this event is for you, you can cycle 10k, 20k or 50k, all at your own pace.
On June 27 Tri & Run Sports is hosting a 30 to 40k Bike Tour for fun, friendship and fund raising. Scott Bikes will be on hand with demo bikes CR1 SL, Plasma LTD, CR1 Cyclocross as well as two Plasmas with Di2 for riders to try. Shimano will have demo wheels for cyclists to ride for the tour. On September 11 the Hasting Highlands Hilly Hundred will take place from the Bancroft Curling Club with numerous distances.
