Anyone doing the 10k the weekend of the Quinte West half?  I'd like to do it, but don't know anyone who is doing this distance.  Not sure if I could do 10k on my own, without motivation from someone else!!

Cheers,
Stephanie

I think that there are a few from the Tuesday/Saturday group that are planning on doing it.  I am sure that they will post.

Hi Stephanie.
I think that the 10K event and half marathon event at Quinte West are being run on the same loop (as in the half marathon just completes the loop twice).
If this is in fact the case and you don't know anyone else running the 10K, I would be more than happy to keep you company during your run!
You CAN do it!!

I'm not fast at all!  I've only done 10k once, and it took me around 1:10.

Well that sounds like it might be around my speed.  Always great to meet new runners, at least I don't think I've met you before...I almost always run with the Tuesday/Sat group.  If you are interested we can arrange to met up.    azn

Sure, that would be great!  I normally come out on Tuesday nights too, but haven't for the last couple of weeks.  I plan to be there next week though.  If you are going to be there, perhaps we could meet then.
