Hi Sandy
What is the Tri &  Run Bike Tour on June 27th.  Is there a site where I can get more information about this?

Thanks

I am currently working on details and it will be on the site but basically it will be a 30-40k TOUR so no timing, that will head from the store.  All riding levels are welcome and encouraged.  Treats afterwards.

I see the Quinte tri and dou are at Batawa.  Paved roads for bike portion?

Perhaps Peterborough is too far away, but they have a half marathon every Feb. that wasn't listed.

Kingston used to have a half marathon in april...Does it still happen?  (It was my first ever half marathon...ran it way back in '97!)

Yes Kingston still does their half in April, same day as the Quinte West half.

Ok, thanks Sandy, I'll try to join on the bike ride, sounds like fun, and I bet my man would even enjoy it.

As for the Batawa bike part of the Duo is pancake flat - are you kiddn me or serious.  Sunday at Bren's Bakery after the 5k run, I was told that it is hilly.  Someone, puleeeze let me know what to expect.   rolleyes

Rolly, but I'm a billy goat, so most would call it hilly.

Peace

I just wanted to know what bike to bring, now I'm questioning which cassette.  undecided

I was gonna put that 11 back on, but maybe I'll stick with the 12....

The funny thing with hilly courses is that I usually use my 11 more than on a flat course, cause ya gotta go down the hills as well. That's why I like a 11-25 cassette. 25 for the ups and the 11 for the downs.

Obviously with tongue in cheek tire guy the only thing flat on that du course would be a tire after it has blown.

It is alot of fun but flat it ain't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
