That's right, a clean machine is a fast machine.

That's right.  Training is for suckers.  All the best tri-athletes clean their bike and polish with synthetic wax.  Oh, and use dimpled wheels.

I'm game for the 100km bike tour.  By the end of March I'll be climbing to 60 km Saturdays and 80 km on sundays.  By the end of April its 80 km Saturdays and 100km Subdays.  So much for running, but I might still do one marathon this year.  Hamilton road to hope.  Nice easy fast course.  Hoping to do better then my finish of 3:20.  Not doing a back to back marathon this time.  I should be about to qualify for Boston.

Exactly right Mike!

Additionally the continued study of Micro-Aerodynamics as it pertains to the effects of surface roughness on turbulent boundary behavior has, in wind tunnel testing shown to reduce power requirements by as much as 60 watts(at Mach 0.4). wink
Similar in principle to the skinsuit.

Wax on. Wax off.
