I know it's early, but for those of us who are trying to do a "half" each month...well, there's nothing for July that I know of.  Sandy, I am assuming you'll let everyone know when you plan on doing yours and we can tag along?  I know I don't want to do it alone...and I know I'll have to get up really early to beat the heat!!!

I'm thinking an evening half for July.

I found one in the Yukon, Manitoba, oh and - Tibet!  Guess they are a little too far to go though.   laugh

If the weather keeps up like this, you should be safe to run your half at any time of the day!

Ok I'm thinking Saturday night July 18 starting at 6pm for our Half marathon (or part of it) then dinner somewhere afterwards.

Not many people are around this Saturday and I'm still recovering so don't want to run 21k this weekend.  Plans have changed...Sunday July 26 8:00am then breakfast.  We will meet at the Stockdale school and run north from there (think bike course for Quinte tri).  This will be out and back and then breakfast at the Mill (?) in Stockdale.  We'll try and evening half in August.

I just realized this Sat. doesn't work for me either.  But July 26 is perfect. As a matter of fact Michelle and I just spoke tonight about trying to plan a 13.2 mile run that very day.  Count us in...

well, count us out now.  My friend cannot find child care for Sunday morn. so we will be doing our 13.2 run on Friday.  It will be my "official" half for July.  Wow, it will be 7 months down, 5 to go!  My God the weather's been good for this!

Ok 21k at 8:00am from the Stockdale School.  It will be an out and back but you can go as far as you like.  Breakfast at the Mill afterwards.

I've been known to eat after 21k.  Yes, if there's room.

Put me down for breakfast too.  Julie, Riccardo and Josephine should be leaving by 8 or 9 a.m. so I might even get out for a bit of the run.

We're doing our 13.2 miles tomorrow in Belleville and we're stopping for beer afterwards...not breakfast.  Don't judge...we like beer more than we like eggs...

well, there's another half down...only 5 to go!  I can't believe month 7 is out of the way!!!  I'd like to really pat myself on the back for getting all these runs done BUT the weather has obviously been a HUGE help.  NOt to mention the cloud cover.  When the sun did come out it was pretty warm.   Today was honestly the hottest day we've experienced...but we drank lots, took our sodium tabs and felt great.  The first beer after the run went down very quickly though...so we had a second.
