Hey the mouse is away so we get to play.....play with the Half marathon training group that is!  Sunday 8am (yes 1 hour earlier) 16k total...8k up Stockdale, then 8k back...from the Clubhouse.  At this point we will drop off the training group and can contiue for anyone who has to go longer.  I have to do 35k...if it's like last weekend it will be 22k!! grin

If you'd rather run at 9am just indicate here so others know.

I am planning on going for the 16K at 8 a.m.  Unless I catch Heather's cold.  She's got it good!   cry

Change of plans.  I am going to go to work in the morning and do my long run later in the day when it is 9 degrees.  So I won't be out with the group in the morning.  Have fun everyone!

You had better not catch either Bob's or Heather's.

Hi Sue, Cathy said she is running from home earlier because she has plans with her Mom.  I believe Petra is away for the weekend.  I hope your sore throat goes away!  I'm going to run in the afternoon if it doesn't work out for you in the morning.  I think most people usually want to get it over and done earlier than the afternoon, but that just works better for me tomorrow.

Hi Sue, I had sent you a pm earlier in the day in answer to your question in the morning. Guess you didn't get it. (I do wonder about facebook these days?) Anyways, I am running early from home so won't be there in the morning.  You guys have a great run though.  Maybe next weekend if anyone wants to go.

I was up at 6 but it was to go to work.   tongue  But peer pressure made me get up at 6 a.m. on our HOLIDAY to run!!

Did my run this afternoon in capris and a shortsleeved top with my jacket.  After about 1K my jacket came off.  It was cool down by the bay but for the rest of it, I was almost thinking I could have worn shorts!!  I was HOT when the wind was at my back.  Did 15.5K in 2 hrs 3 min with THREE bathroom breaks, and a 300 m walk included at the beginning and the end.  I am happy with it.  But I did miss my running friends.  I reminded me of when I first started running and I did all my long runs alone.  I really do like to have company now.

I got mine done late afternoon, as my throat was feeling better. It was gorgeous out, wore my capris and long sleeve with jacket and ditched the jacket after my first 11k loop. Loving the spring weather! It is great to have company Jane, sure makes the run go faster too!

Great job Sue.  Did you and Jane manage to get out together?

It was just a beautiful day.  The afternoon would have been better than the morning but the morning was wonderful too.  I left shortly after 7 and was home before 10.  Only 2 bathroom breaks.  Sure better than the last two long runs.  Yeah.  Was good to the THIS last long run in. I am liking the route that I have taken the last two runs that I have done from home.  Hits a bit on Stockdale Road from the other end.   It is a bit hilly but that is usual for out here and it only has a small bit of highway in it.  Will definately use this route again.

Great job everyone and wonderful weather.  Enjoy.

No, Jane and I did not get together for our run. That would have been great, but I ended up going to watch my girlfriends grandsons hockey game early afternoon. It was a Novice A game and they are in the all Ontario finals. Oh my gosh they were so cute out there but unfortunately they are 2 games down in the series. I came home and didn't get out until 2:30 and was 2:58 for the 22k.with one bathroom break. I felt great out there and thought I would have a better time.
