Ok 9am at the Clubhouse.  We'll do at least one loop of 11ish and if the weather co-operates we'll do more.

See you all at 9:00am with bells on OR your Superbowl Team colours!  Yeah Pittsburg!

Sandy said it would be the same as last week - the 2nd Dug Hill loop.  Did you find that friendly?  Although with all this snow we have gotten today, who knows if we will be able to find the road!

And while we are at it, ever since Cathy mentioned it once, I am wondering what is behind the name 2nd Dug Hill!  And where the heck is 1st Dug Hill?

Dave, you are just plain crazy to run Stockdale Rd in that snow!!  What has gotten into you?

Hey Cathy, I think it's because I started training later than you did and Sandy's been working my runs around my crazy work schedule. I will let you guys know in the am if I am coming for sure as it is snowing and blowing again over here tonight!  I am tired of  tread mill running at any percent!  I hope I don't have to run on it again tomorrow!  I ran outside on Wednesday and it was snowing and blowing! angry

Well.. it wasn`t snowing when i started out. The weather channel claimed flurries or " light snow".. i think they may of been referring to the colour. So as i got closer to the light in stockdale the harder it snowed. So it was a bit of a survival run , but when your 10 k from your car in a snowstorm..well....so run i guess.. grin

Ya, I have never been able to find any information about 2nd Dug Hill.  I hunted quite a while back and nothing on the internet.  I should hit the library and see what they may have.  Maybe the first is Mt Pilion and they just renamed it.

It was a great run!  A little messy (ok - a lot messy!) but still, considering the amount of snow we got yesterday it wasn't bad.  And it wasn't -20 for a change!!

I wish when they built that 2nd Dug Hill, they hadn't dug it quite so high!
