I was on the website today and there are only 263 runners registered so far, not 500, and that's for both distances....no need to panic yet...but I'm sure it will fill quickly.

Hey Dave, feel free to really get it off your chest by posting under Women Only Events under the Section called UUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHH!  I do understand where you are coming from though..... It does sound like reverse discrimination. Although apparently men are allowed to register (well they could have except it is full now) -- they just can't win any prizes. I guess you would still be allowed to eat the chocolate being presented by the fire fighters though.
