Well it isn't Proposed any more.

Well it is official.  The date for the Chop That Mop Hair Cut is July 5th.

There will be our usual Fun Run that day leaving from the Clubhouse but you will also be able to purchase raffle tickets to see who gets to do the FIRST CUT on my hair.  Pledge sheets will also be available at that time so any of you that wish to pledge can do so then.  There are several pledge sheets circulating so if you can?t attend and wish to pledge ask and we can direct you to pledge sheet holders.  There will also be a prize for the most pledges collected.

Once the FIRST CUT is done Beth (my hairdresser) and I will leave so she can finish my new du.  While we are gone you guys get to head out for a run/walk with your choice of 5 or 10K distances.   Upon returning to the Clubhouse  there will be snacks made by Bill for a nominal fee and coffee.  If you wish to stay and see the finished product please wait there and Beth and I will return lighter and less hairy.  Ha ha.

There will also be a yardsale and the date for that isJune 14th.  I hope everyone has seen the flyer that Shannon posted at the Clubhouse.  Please let us know if you have anything you wish to donate.  Items can be brought to the Clubhouse before hand or we can pick them up for you if you wish.  Contact Shannon or myself for further information.

Thanks to everyone who has helped to get this off the ground and keep it rolling.  Especially my Project Manager Shannon who has managed to keep me focused and pulled this all together.  I look forward to seeing you all there.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make this a wonderful project.  Shannon I wish you had been able to be here.  Thank you for keeping things on track and me in line.  Susan, Bill, thanks for all your help and the goodies.  I hope the kids had fun.  I sure didn't get to see everyone and thank them personally.  Hope you have a great holiday.  Nancie, thanks for all your help.  You are awesome.  Thanks for your donations and keeping everyone happy.  Sandy, thanks for making the first cut.

EVERYONE............. THANK YOU

We raised $1,134.13 total.  JUST fantastic.

I'd do this again.  Might have to wait a few years, but I would do this again.

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left.

Wow, two years flies when you are having fun!  I STILL love your "new" look Cathy!  It is great.
