Sue, there are only 500 hundred spots left for the Half Marathon!  If you are going to do it, I would suggest register ASAP!

Sandy, are you going?  Are you going to do the Half or the full?  It seems to be the half that is getting down to the crunch.

So that is a "complimentary" entry?  Does that mean your name won't show up on the confirmation lists?  One more question - are you doing the half or full?

It is complimentary but it should show up eventually on the confirmation list.  The half.  As much as I want to do the full it probably wouldn't be wise a week after Disney.

That is true!  But truthfully, I don't actually consider running a half marathon as taking the "easy way" at any time, let alone a week after completing a half Ironman!

I sure hope that Sue sees this post and gets registered!

Thanks so much for letting me know about Ottawa.  It's been really busy here and we all have been taking turns are on the phone and computer.  I did check the site this morning though and was able to register from here.  Where are you guys staying?  I thought I could try to see if I can stay in the same hotel as you guys if possible.   I'm not sure if Terry is planning to come with me or not. I haven't had a chance to talk to him about Ottawa today. I was talking to him in Mississauga and he was telling me how everyone was doing.  They all were doing great!  He and Sue were waiting for Dave and Shannon to come in when I called him.  Wish I could have been there to see Shannon cross.  I should be back on Thursday but if you think I should book something from hear please let me know and I'll talk to Terry tonight to see what he wants to do.
Thanks Again Jane,
Sue

My friends and I have two rooms booked at the Minto Suites, downtown Ottawa and we only need one.  If anyone is interested in taking the other, let me know.  The Minto Suites is a fantastic deal, best I've ever found for the NCM.  It's about a 5-7 min. walk from the start.  Beautiful rooms,  beautiful hotel.  The rooms are actually like apartments, with FULLY equipped kitchens and laundry in each.  The room that we are not using has a separate bedroom with two double beds, a living room with pull out couch and is $150.  Great deal esp. if there are more than 2 people sharing.  Anyways, I don't have to cancel it until 24 before check in...

Sue, we have 2 suites booked at the Albert at Bay Suite Hotel.  Not as close as the Minto and slightly less.
There would be 7 of us including you, so definitely enough room.  If Terry is coming there would still be enough room, if you don't mind sharing.  Or you could take Belleville Runner up on her offer if you wanted a room to yourselves.
So you have choices, isn't that great?

Thanks so much everyone! I will try and let everyone know tomorrow. I'm am trying to get in touch with Terry right now.  We are on our way back and are almost to Memphis.  We are thinking about stopping at Graceland tomorrow for a quick tour and lunch.  We are feeling like we need a little break.
Thanks Again,
Sue

Belleville Runner,
Thanks so much for your offer but I think we are going to stay with the other folks at Albert at Bay.  There are only two of us who are looking for accommodations, so the suite at the Minto is probably a little big for us. Hope you and your friends have a great race!
Thanks Again,
Sue

Duane and I are doing the half in Ottawa.  We're staying at the Crown Plaza.  Are you all going to supper Saturday night?

Hi Celin, we are cooking in our room and you are certainly more than welcome to join us.  There seems to be about 13 right now attending and the more the merrier.
