Sandy and All who helped out

Just want to say thanks for the great race today.  You guys and girls did a great job.  It was nice to have police protoection on the way I felt quite safe out there.   Thanks sto Stephanie and Dave for staying with me and making me speed up to cross the line.  Can't wait for next year.

Totally agree with that!!  Thanks Sandy and friends.  Thanks for cheering on us slow folks.  It was awesome.....even though I'll hate you all tomorrow when I try to move.  LOL  You know it's a tough race when you start envying the cop on the bicycle.  :-)

Forgot to mention, the T-shirts are perfect!  I showed it to my daughter and she thought they were great.

Thanks Sandy,McCurdy's and to everyone who helped out today at the Wingnut!  It was a great day for a race!  Terry and I really enjoyed the  company, the BBQ  and Bill's cookies after the race too!   We especially will enjoy our new patio set on our newer  looking just power washed deck.  Thanks so much!

Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers, it was a great day.

One of the best organized races I have been to, from the goodie bags (awesome T-Shirt) to the aid stations and the food afterwards (especially the cookies).  All this made running Stockdale Road actually enjoyable. grin grin

Looking forward to next year.

I already said thanks on the other thread but I can say it again, because it is worth saying!  Sandy and all her volunteers did a great job!  I know Holly did a lot of organizing too so thanks to her especially.

Celin, funny you said that about the cops on the bikes.  In the beginning I was saying to them that I would rather be running those hills than biking those hills.  However, after a few KMs of running, those bikes were looking pretty good!

As I was running in one spot on Stockdale Road I was reminded of the white out conditions we had endured out there not all that long ago.   It is amazing how our weather can change, and even more amazing when it is for the good!   laugh
