The One to One Cancer Run is on Saturday May 3.  This year they are running teams and Janet Goneau, your fellow FunRunner is looking for members.  All that is required is that you email Janet............. cucina@freemans.ca by Friday and tell her your shirt size (technical women's and men's specific) then come into the store and register.  So far Petra and I are on her team from Trenton.

Let's make this a triple header weekend, do the cancer team run on Saturday, brunch Sunday morning then the Hospice 5k on the Tri & Run Team Sunday at noon.

Anybody in?  Anybody?

I didn't even know I was on a team when I registered for One to One!  But I'm glad I am.  cool

Anyway, what time were you thinking for brunch and where on the Sunday?  I have to run 32K that morning but I could probably make it to Belleville for 11?  Or is that too late?
And I am planning on either biking or walking the 5k for Hospice, definitely NOT running   grin

Someone suggested somewhere last night at the clubhouse.  But I don't remember what it was or where it was.

Apparently Cora's is closed.   angry cry  I alway liked it there.  I read reviews for it and they were mostly bad, bad, bad.  Maybe that is why they are no longer open???

So I googled restaurants in Belleville and have found the following:

The Northway Restaurant - 205 North Front - Has Breakfast Specials - Serving Belleville for over 35 years
Quinte Restaurant - 135 Cannifton Road (opposite the Tim's on College and Cannifton) - family owned and operated since 198.
Olympic 76 - 444 Dundas Street West - According to Canada 411 has been serving the Quinte Area with Excellent Homemade Food for over 21 Years

Never been to any of them.

Denny's was also suggested.  I am not crazy on it but will go there if the majority wants to.

There doesn't seem to be many breakfast restaurants in Belleville.  Maybe someone who lives there can suggest one.

I was impressed with the Olympic Restaurant.  Also, there is a little ma and pops resaurant just as you get in Belleville on hwy 2 from Trenton.  It's on the right hand side in the plaza.  Very good breaky too.  Space is limited so that could be a problem.
I love finding the best place for breakfast.

Lots of times those Ma and Pa restaurants can be the best!  I will go wherever!

Harbourview cafe has good breakfasts, but limited space...very limited.  It's a tiny restaurant.  Also, the bohemian penguin had a sign up about two weeks ago advertising brunch.

How about the Krazy Rooster.  I had breakfast there once and it was good.  It's on 325 N Front Street.  I think there would be enough room for us.  I could check it out tomorrow and find out if they serve brunch.

I also wondered about the Cafe E, it is very good.  What did you find out Petra?
