Certainly would.  I'm finished my laziness hiatus and it's time to get back in the swing of things.  Road bike would be my preference, but I can also do the trail biking if needed.

My suggestion would be to talk to Patti.  I know she is putting in 2 teams but I'm not sure if she has filled all spots yet.

Other option is I'm looking for a race crew member to do the Tinman..... grin

That is great Sandy, can I be on a team and race crew before or after?
And is it you doing Tinwoman  cool?  Or maybe Jeff doing Tinman?

Hey Petra,

Actually myself, jeff, Dennis and Nancy C are all doing Tinman.  I think race crew has to be dedictaed because that person has to be at all locations.  What leg are you doing?

Yes, I guess that wouldn't work.  I'm doing the 6k and maybe the last 3.75, unless Jane is doing it.
But let me know if you need any help for the first 5 legs.

I am doing the 1st 10k run.  When I looked at the map /description of the route, it doesn't make sense to me.  It looks like the start is in one place, then the run transition zone is in another place .  Does the 1st run not start at the "start"?  All of the other transition zones are at the start of the leg which is why this seems weird.  If anyone knows how this works please let me know! Thanks!

I believe there are 2 finish lines for the 10.  If you are part of a relay or a tinperson then you finish at Bain Park where the canoe begins.  If you are doing strictly the 10 only I believe that the start and finish are the same spot.  If you wanted confirmation you could call the organizer Lisa Refausee.  I believe they have a meeting scheduled for this Wednesday, and that would have more info for you.

There's a meeting this Wednesday?  I didn't know that!  Is that the one for the team captains and the volunteers?

I'm not sure.  Sandy told me about it yesterday, she found out through Jeff Walsh.  I was going to call you today to aske you about it.
Call me at the store today to let me know if I have to be there too.  Apparently it is at 1130

Oops - I never checked here today till now.  I will have to remember to call the gym tomorrow first thing.  But I seem to remember last year that the meeting didn't happen until the week of the surf & turf.  And you would think that they would have called the team captains to inform them???
