Today I ran 12.5km in Sandy's shoes.  I am not sure of the exact name of the shoes but they were one of her new brands I think they were the Innovation shoes.  I will say the the powder blue colour was not really my thing but as I was told they did match my shirt quite well, if only my shorts were as coordinated.

When I first put them on it felt like Sandy had ran in them many times before, so I asked she said that she had only ran in them that morning.  So as a first run or should I say second run they were fantastic.  They fit just like a glove or like a running shoe that had 100km on them.  They seemed to be broken in right from the start, what a treat compared to my Mizuno trail shoes.  I liked the way they hugged my foot for every step I felt like I wasn't wearing any shoes at all.  The flex was good over bumps rocks and roots and I could even leap fallen trees in a single bound with no discomfort when I hit the ground.

The tread was great, deep lugs that made it easy to trek through greasy spots and the mud came out of them quite easily.  I never felt that I was carrying an extra 50lbs of weight on the bottom of my feet.  This is important to me because I don't like to carry any more extra weight than I have to.  Traversing the rail bed with all of those rocks of different shapes and sizes was great I did not feel any rocks through the soles of the shoes.  The only terrain I did not try were puddles becasue they weren't my shoes.

I am not sure what the specs are for these shoes, for those you will have to talk to Sandy but I do know that I will take them into consideration when I buy my next pair of trail shoes.

Thanks Sandy for letting me use them today I am glad that our feet are the same size.

So all in all you'd say running a mile in my shoes feels well worn, supportive, light and like you could leap tall buildings in a single bound!!!   roflmaob

Glad you liked them Bill!!  We'll have to swap shoes more often.  Feel free to get them as wet as you like, enjoy.
