Who knows when we will get a report from the three triathletes who participated in Brockville today.  So here is a pictoral review of their day:

Bodymarking after the race pickup -- I guess they didn't have enough volunteers to bodymark so it was basically do-it-yourself or get your friend to do it.  I always thought bodymarking was one of the most popular volunteer jobs!

Getting set up in the transition area:

Heather and Cathy waiting for their entry into the water.

Cathy coming out of the water (sorry about the darkness).

Heather right behind her coming out of the water.  Those yanking guys must have been some tired by the end of the morning.

Janet waiting to get into the water!

Heather and Cathy heading out on the bike.

Janet coming out of the water....

Cathy coming in from the bike.

Heather right behind her.

Heather and Cathy heading out on the run.

Janet coming in from the bike.

No pics of Janet heading out on the run - I did a video instead.  And videos of all three of them coming in over the finish line.

Here are Cathy and Heather, feeling victorious post race.

And Janet, on finishing her sprint Tri.

Finished with a celebratory lunch at Cora's in Kingston on the way home.

It was lots of fun from a spectator's perspective!  And I didn't even stress (too much) about my daughter doing an open water swim.   rolleyes

Thanks for the great pictoral journey of the day Jane.  It was also nice to have yourself, Petra and Adam there to help with the transfer of equipment from car to T-zone.

Your need to stress about Heather in open water I hope was a bit lessened.  Heather gave me a job to do that morning on the way down in the car (stay on her right and watch for swimmers and kickers) and I hope that I did that for her.  It certainly helped to keep me focused.  I wouldn't let anything happen to her out there.  Too bad we can't get you out there to see her swim Jane.  She was so strong and confident.  There was no worries.

Thanks Heather and Janet for being there with me.  I had a blast.

I absolutely love my bike photos from zoomphoto.ca

They did an awesome job with all of the photos actually but I especially like the bike ones.  Maybe because I have never had any bike photos  wink

OK that was fun.  Looking at all their pictures too.  It was kinda like a mini marathon of pics.  Gotta love the aftermath of one of these things.  And to have to many different pictures of you doing all kinds of things.  Cool.

Wow!  Love one of those bike shots for the store Heather.  wink  Cathy, I don't think they took enough photos of you!  You too Janet.  I love the way Zoom has partnered with Sportstats so it's all in one place.  Go the results, find your person, click on their pics...very cool!
