OK we rocked them.  Team placed 4th overall and at last look it was 4th out of 9 teams.  And we had two of our team members place 2nd in their age groups (that would be Nancy and Meghan) and and Meghan placed 3rd overall and goodness knows how many PB's out of the lot of us.

I am so thrilled.  What a great time.

Cathy, Heather, Jane,& Petra,

I am so glad you guys included us in the run today.   Meghan & I had a really good time with all of you.
It was by far the most fun I have had at a race.   Everything was fantastic,   from the homemade bagels to the incredible ice cream to the wet towels wrapped around you at the finish line,  to the massages at the end.    A very pampered race.   We will definitely go back next year.   The only thing that was really hard was the run itself,  without that it would have been perfection!!
Please keep us in mind for future runs,
Thanks again,
Nancie

Yes, our team did great!!!  Good thing we stacked it with the Gibson girls!   laugh laugh

It WAS a hard run.  Not sure why -- maybe something to do with the fact that our trainer had us do an hour and a half run the evening before  tongue - ok maybe we cheated a bit and did it at 4 p.m. and not in the evening.  But it didn't make the race any easier!

I agree it was a great event.  I would definitely do it again!  It was fun but it was also a good race for the serious racers (Moose - you might want to check it out!)  There is a 5K and 10K race.

Congratulations to Nancie and Meghan -- we knew you were fast!  And 2nd place in your age groups is amazing!  And 3rd overall for Meghan, and by the way Nancie was 11th for the ladies!  Just amazing!  You girls cleaned up!!

We'll let you know when the next race is!   wink

There were 185 photos I think and I didn't have time from home to check so will check at work.  Let you know if I see any familiar faces in the crowds.

Since I didn't post the link to my facebook, I thought I would post a couple of the photos here.  To show what a great team we had!

So, here we are prior to the race!

And here we are after the race -- Nancie and Meghan threw on a couple of our T&R shirts -- can you tell?   laugh

Meghan receiving her third place Woman's prize.

Nancie receiving her 2nd place age group prize.

The only two pictures that I could see of any of us were two of Petra:
#15596219 & 15593220.  I guess Petra is our only star.  Yea Petra.
