The names you want to follow and their numbers are:
Jeff Musson 1414
Dennis Hills  1337
Nancy Coakley  2492
Angela Lilly  2129
Jeff Walsh   643  (this is Dot's doctor)
Jon Bell  314  (raced Dennis to the line in the first Fat Ass)
Ben Bell 252   (Jon's brother)
Lindsay Bell  1811  (Jon's uncle)
Cliff Mountain  1496 (Janet's friend)

Race starts at 7am on July 22 and they have until midnight.  Go to www.ironmanlive.com and you should be able to track them.
They will be swimming 3.8k, biking 180k and then running a mere 42.2k.  Everyone on this list has the potential of coming in between 10 and 14 hours with the average being 12.  If they take the entire 17 hours not one of them will be happy because it means they have had a tough race but in my eyes...they are the toughest of the Ironmen.  Cross your fingers for moderate weather as that will keep the spectators out but be easy on the competitors.  I promise to write a race report.

Thanks for the list Sandy, I was going to ask you for one!  I have to add my friend Cliff Mountain to the list  (Laurie has run with him, and he came and did the fat ass). This is his very first Ironman, and he hopes to finish in 13:30 (but he said it'll be 13:35).  GUess I know what I'll be doing on Sunday.  CAn't wait to read the reports  Sandy.

Thanks Janet for posting about Cliff!
I was just talking to him this morning too - and mentioned him to the group I ran with at Batawa Sunday am..
Hopefully he'll wear his 'sydenham running club' bright yellow shirt so that there is some slim possibility that he'll be seen!!!

Good luck to all!!!

Good luck everyone!!

We'll be watching  - after we come home from the Milk Run....  Our event starts at 9 a.m. - so, an hour to run, an hour to eat ice cream and other things, three hours to shop, another hour or so to get home.....  We MIGHT get home before you guys go over the finish line IF you don't go too fast!!   laugh

I hope all went well.

Regret nothing, even the bad parts contributed to your arrival in this spot, and if dirt is down, then you're still winning.  Keep racing.
