Just wanted to say that I had a great run today eventhough it seemed like we were going in circales, I swear i saw the same set of trees twice.  Coffee was great at the end.  Hope everybody else had a good time.  See you all soon.

I agree!
The boys and I had a wonderful time!!
and.. obviously you were in a different group that we were, Bill..
I'm sure we crossed the same bridge 3 times - in about 15 minutes at one point!!

Can't wait to see the pictures!
Next time i'll try not to leave my camera on the kitchen table!!

I'll talk to my group here to figure out a time to get together at Frontenac Park or Gould Lake one day!!

hope to connect again really soon!

Dave

By referring to yourself as a donkey that doesn't say much about your outlook toward yourself.

Laurie

Yes hopefully we will connect in one of those parks or sooner.

Laurie, all my photos are on my facebook.  Have to download a couple to photobucket so I can post here.  Or -- everyone can join as a friend on my facebook!

By the way -- a Quinte FunRunners group has been created on facebook.  Check it out everyone!

Glad to hear you all had fun this morning.  Sometimes "life" just gets in the way of my running life.  I missed yesterday's fun run as I took my neice (for her birthday) and kids to the "Build A Bear" in Oshawa, very cool , but you could end up with a very expensive bear in a hurry.  Then last night I got some bad news ( friends husband passed away from cancer sad) so needless to say my running has been put on the back burner for a bit.  But i enjoyed reading the stories and hopefully will be back out again soon

That is terrible about your friend's husband, Janet.  I would imagine he wasn't very old?  I just hate hearing about deaths from cancer.

We missed you this past weekend.  Sounds like you had fun at Build a Bear.  We saw one of those stores when we were down in Philadelphia about five years ago.  I can see how they could add up quickly!  But the bears sure were cute!

Janet, so sorry to hear about your friends husband.  I'm sure she'll appreciate having you around, we'll miss you for the next little while.  Our thoughts are with you!

I also wanted to say thanks to all you for coming over this way for the run yesterday!  It was great fun!
Sorry I didn't  know much about the trails at McCauley as I only have run it once before and that was with you guys.  Lisa and I will get out there more so next time we won't be running in so many circles!  Lisa also said we'll try and get a run together sometime out at the Sand Banks trails too!  Laurie it was nice to have you and your boys out with us as well!  Andrea, just wanted to let you know the ascent on my garmin was 231 and the descent was 223.  My runs at home around Bloomfield are usually around 160 to about 170 ascent and descent.  We did a fair amount of time going up and down!
Dave how's the poison ivy?  Have you tried the Caladryl?  Hope it's doing better!
See you all soon at the beer run!

Sue, no need to apologize girl!  You were invaluable out there.  We would have been totally lost without you!  You make a great tour guide!

Hey Sue, was great seeing you again...good run. re:poison ivy~~~~~~~~ewwwww!!..
Went home and filled the tub with bleach, zero laundry soap and me..oh yeah and water..sat in it then scratched my self silly, and allowed the soupy mix to sting like no tomorrow...holy crap!!...then it itched for an hour after that, just about went nuts, then i went to the drug shoppers, and got hydrocortisone cream and more benadryl, the drug lady told me to not to take the benadryl and caladryl together...too much dryl i guess..i`ll OD or something..any way, im doing better, will know tomorrow if what we ran through on sunday stuck to me or not.You guys do know that we ran through a ton of poison ivy on sunday..RIGHT???..well we did..so take care.
                                    Davey boy Storey.. grin.
