My shoulder hurts, really bad. I think it was because of doing fly's with my free weights on Thursday. I woke up at 4:am in horrible pain. Now the pain is sort of spreadng to my side and spine. I can't sleep on my left side and I can't take deep breaths. Do you think I pulled something? I believe I rushed through my work out, and that might of done it. I don't think the walk in clinic opens til Tuesday. My friend dropped off some muscle relaxers. I've been taking Ibuprofin 400's every 4 hrs. Using cold and hot packs. Any other ideas?

That sounds painful too! My solution to everything is a massage. But then you won't be able to get one of those until Monday either, unless you go to the Oriental one or one of those other 24 hr ones. And I don't think it is a good idea to be seen walking in there! Can you try to roll on the TP ball? Will that help some? Keep taking the Ibuprofen. That's all I can say.

Oh Shannon, sounds painful. I took the magic fingers course about a month ago. Too bad I wasn't around tomorrow. I could give you a massage. Sounds like you are doing all the right things for now. Hopefully something will do the trick and you will get some relief.

Well, I have been taking those little house pills (muscle relax pills). It made me sleep all night, and then all day. I got out of bed at 3:pm. I used the tp ball, and it seems to have loosened it up a bit. I should never rush a workout. I hope I'm okay for the surf and turf. I'm in the canoe.

How is it today Shannon? Try laying on the floor with the TP ball in different spots along you shoulder blade, go from the bottom to the top. Also lie on the floor on your good side in the fetal position then take your top arm (sore side) and move it towards the floor, just lie there and let it hang with your elbow bent.
OR, get a massage.
