To all those training for a marathon the last weekend in May, rejoice! Only 1 really long run left.
I'm so happy to have gotten this far.
One 20 miler left, then coast

Has anyone warned you about "taper madness?" Apparently some people don't react well to all the energy that they have pent up because they are suddenly not running those long distances anymore. They tend to redirect the energy into exercising their credit cards!
I hear the recovery period can sometimes be quite extensive.

Ahh, that explains why I can't use any of them anymore. 9 tapers at $1 per mile not run. Oh my!
